Christmas Beetle
The Christmas Beetle (Anoplognathus olivieri), is part of the family Scarabaeidae which consists of over 30,000 beetles worldwide. Often called Scarabs or scarab beetles, in ancient Egypt where revered as sacred.
The Backyard series is a personal project started by Miami based photographer Aaron Ansarov which explores the beauty in color and design of animals found in backyards around the world.
