As a Passionate Photographer, Aaron creates images with impact and emotion. He has a masterful use of light, color and an ability to push the envelope. Using insight to the subjects' apprehension, he breaks down barriers and creates imagery to be remembered. His up close and personal style allows him to create captivating, beautiful and original images. Specializing in photographing people for editorial, advertising and corporate clients, Aaron is always on the look out for the next defining moment in time.
He always surrounds himself with people who are at the top of their game. From multi-millionaire business owners to pro sportsman to Soldiers in the deserts of Iraq, Aaron is fascinated by the individual passion in everyone.
Aaron has traveled the world as a military photojournalist for more than 14 years, and has experienced life through the interactions of many cultures in peacetime and in war. Aaron has been recognized for many years as one of the top photographers in the Department of Defense. This gave him the experience, talent and style to provide the best imagery on the tightest deadline. Classically trained and experienced from film to the latest in digital equipment and lighting, Aaron has a skill level like no other.
As well as the constant learner of the latest in technology, Aaron is also the constant instructor and mentor. Having founded and facilitated the Military Photojournalism workshop in the Nay for six years, Aaron has the classroom experience to train and bring any skill level photographer to the confidence level they desire. He is also listed on the National Press Photographers Association mentor list as well as a very active ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers) member. Aaron also holds a journeyman license in Still Photography from the Department of Labor. A feat not easily obtained while logging over 6,000 hours in just under 5 years.
When Aaron is not capturing images for a client, he enjoys spending time with his wife and partner, Anna and son, Corbin as well as pursuing new personal projects and experiences based purely on his curiosity.
